Early Years and Rise to Prominence

Anadolu Efes Spor Kulübü was founded in 1976. In its early years, the team competed in the lower divisions of Turkish basketball. However, in the late 1990s and early 2000s, Anadolu Efes began to make a name for itself.

Recent Achievements and International Recognition

In the past decade, Anadolu Efes has established itself as one of the top basketball teams in Europe. The team has won the Turkish Super League championship 15 times and has also won the EuroLeague twice. In 2021, Anadolu Efes became the first Turkish team to win the EuroLeague back-to-back.
